Fall Shanley: Voices outside the Dominant Narratives
We use our first slot of the year to showcase stories that have been underrepresented on our campus. Through the production of a published play, we provide students the opportunity to hear these perspectives and engage in dialogue about them.

Winter Pop Up Gallery
This pop up gallery at Coffee Lab Evanston is a space for Black and Indigenous artists to showcase their work and respond to Spectrum's activism focus (if they so choose). Artwork is displayed in a virtual gallery in addition to the in-person event. This is a community-based process, and we aim to facilitate opportunities for artists to create alongside each other.

Firelight: A Winter Weekend of Devised Works
“Firelight” is a weekend of original devised works between 20 to 30 minutes in length during Winter quarter. We are excited to offer theatre-makers the opportunity to explore themes that resonate with Spectrum's sociopolitical mission!

Spring Mainstage: Project NU
Project NU is an original theatrical work inspired by the voices of the Northwestern community and generated through the collaboration of students. The team of Project NU interviews the student body and creates a piece of theatre representative of experiences concerning a specific socio-political issue at Northwestern.
